Sample custom blogger templates

Today the theme is clean. Simple, minimalistic and clean. I'll add more as I get more... (notice that I figured out how to hide the nav-bar at the top)
The first one is the one we chose, the others are options I tried:

Custom posts footer

Today I learned how to do custom post footers for blogger. You can see what I mean by the handprint and signature below. They are coded so as to show up at the end of every post automatically.

Ottava Battuta blogger background

This time I'm trying a fixed-position background so there isn't a 'slice' to repeat. Its just one huge image that remains fixed. The text will scroll, but the image remains fixed. Not sure I like that effect as much as a moving background, but it does enable you to make nice images.

This is for a friend doing a blog on saving money by using coupons. Its a great site and pertains directly to the stores I shop at.

Blogger backgrounds

I've been wanting to learn how to do backgrounds for blogger and finally took the time to figure it out. Turns out - not too hard! I did both this site and my friend Joann's.

First you make a background 'slice':
And then you code blogger to use that slice as a background, repeating in the y-direction.
