The red pulls out some of the red in the photos - you probably knew that subconsciously before you added it :-) Cool. I like the bigger "the MAC offers", and I like the red, but I have to say the first one was FAR from blah. Purple and buff alone might have been blah, but adding the black was a stroke of genius.
Its getting better....but for some reason it still seems blah to me. I added red - it seemed to be crying out for red.
