I got the church site up and I'm really happy with it. I have the slideshow of the announcements running, which takes its content from Flickr so I can just add new announcements there and don't have to change any code.
Oh wow, the church site looks amazing! Is there any way for you to get a count of "views" for the site? Or visitors or whatever? That might be useful for you guys, if you haven't already. Great job, I'm so impressed.
Yeah - I have some code hidden in it that records that. I use a Google product for that...."google analytics". Its super-cool....tells you where the visitors are from, what search words they used to get there, how long they spent on each page. Very cool. And a little bit scary!
I didn't know you did this. Is this a side thing or something you always wanted to do? I loved looking at all the different things you have done. Really cool!
