www.iheartfaces.com has a weekly Fix-It challenge that I thought would be fun to try. So I downloaded their original photo:
And then I used Photoshop CS3 to 'fix' it. I cropped it (hopefully that isn't against the rules!) and fixed the blurry flakes on the girls face. Then I changed the curves a little to lighten the shadows and lighten around her face. Then I fooled with the colors a bit to make them 'pop' and lastly I changed the colors of her scarf so everything was more in the blue-family. Here's my final result:
And then I tried a black-and-white version:
Beautiful! I can't decide whether I like the b/w one best or the wintry blues in the color version... gotta keep 'em both, I suppose!
